I'm on vacation!

Hi everyone!

For the past week I have been enjoying vacation with my Mommy. We are currently in memphis at Mimi and Poppy's house.

We had a really rough ride from Nashville. It rained so hard, but I took good care of Mommy and we made it safely. On Christmas morning we opened presents. Apparently a stand mixer is a really great thing because Mommy got one and she jumped and screamed. I jumped too! Poppy made yummy ham and turkey and Mimi and Titi Kate made foods that were too spicy for me! It was a great day.

On Friday we went to Oxford, Mississippi to Titi Kate's house. It was fun. When we left there we went to Tunica for dinner with the Sweetens. Mommy got carded and they tried to put her in the kiddie line at the casino. Mimi had to tell them that she was a grown up. I got to eat crab legs and they were soooo yummy!

These past few days I've just been hanging with the girls. Last night we went to see Seven Pounds. I guess it was good because all of the girls were crying.

Tomorrow I go back to Nashville. Daddy's friend Phil is getting married and we are going to the wedding. That's all that I can remember right now. That's my life...in Aaron's World!

Wall Quotes

Hi everyone!

So on Sunday, Mommy and I were putting up the Christmas tree. We were watching HGTV and we saw the coolest thing! We saw different quotes that a lady had put on her wall using giant stickers. Of course, Mommy decided right then that she had to have them. Well, Mommy and Daddy are trying to come up with something great to put on my wall, but they are having a hard time. If you have any suggestions please post them and help us out!

Here I am!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been M.I.A. Mommy and I have been getting ready for the holiday season. On Tuesday we get to dress up as Mrs. Claus for the Head Start Christmas party. This party is for children in need, and I get to help pass out presents and cookies! Mommy said that not all babies are as fortunate as I am so I'm starting early with my volunteer work.

I've been growing a lot lately. I'm almost two pounds(about the size of an eggplant), and I've recently discovered the joy of flipping. It's such great fun! There's so much room in here for me to dance and play. Daddy likes to sing songs to me and I dance. Mommy likes to ask me questions and I respond with kicks.

I'm becoming a little less shy about my kicking so I just may kick for you one day! You just never know. It all depends on how my day is going...in Aaron's World!

Thanksgiving Break

HI guys!

I'm finally back from my Thanksgiving break. I had a great time. On Thanksgiving Day I had Waffle House for breakfast and watched the parade and some football with Mommy and Daddy. Mommy was so excited when Santa came out. Daddy though she was nuts!

Later that evening I went to my Grandma Carolyn's for dinner. We watched more football and just hung out. At midnight, Mommy had the bright idea to go shopping at Opry Mills. There were a billion people there! It was insane. Daddy was not having it so we left soon after.

On Friday, Mommy and I went to Memphis to see her family. We got to have Thanksgiving dinner all over again! It was so yummy. Poppy made TWO turkeys! I'd like to think they were both for me although my Mommy and Titi Kate thought they were for them.

Saturday was all about me! We went to KMart with Aunt Bianca's Mommy and we had a ball. I got all kinds of presents! I'm so loved. Jon and Kate Plus 8 was in the store earlier that day, but we missed them. They obviously didn't know that a big star was coming because they would have stayed to meet me!

On Sunday we went to church. I saw all of my friends and family. Everyone said that Mommy looks cute with me in her belly...it's just my handsome-ness shining through! :-) I kicked for my Poppy. He said that I may not like people touching me all the time, but I don't mind if he does it :-)

On Monday I got to go to Mimi's school. I met all of her teacher friends and her class too. They think I'm a pretty cool kid. Mommy and I left that day to go back home. I danced the whole way home to John Legend, Destiny's Child, and a few Christmas tunes. I'm a dancing machine!

When Daddy got home from work I was so happy to see him! We talked for a while and I kicked like crazy! Mommy asked me to go to sleep, but I was just too happy. Daddy was laughing at my kicks. I'm getting stronger by the day and that just cracks him up!

Whew! That was a lot! But hey, that's life...in Aaron's world!

Presents for me and Christmas Pics

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been busy growing. I'm the size of a mango now!

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Target to pick out things that I will need when I get out. Daddy was having great fun clicking on EVERYTHING! Mommy said that he registered for two swings! I'm gonna be swinging a lot!

On Sunday we took family Christmas pictures. Mommy said that I get my disdain for the camera from my Daddy. He wanted nothing to do with those pictures! He complained the whole time. I totally understand! I hate the camera too...

I'm not sure why this doctor lady is insisting on looking at me, but I want no part of it! They took me back to the doctor today and tried to make me perform tricks for the camera, but I refused. I even covered my face so they couldn't see me. I did let the doctor see my heart and she said I was perfectly healthy, and Mommy and Daddy said that's all that matters. That mean old doctor tried to shake me up again, but I went to my comfort spot in Mommy's tummy and stayed there. I weigh one pound now, but Mommy said she's gonna tell people that I weigh twenty...I'm not sure what that's about. Anyway.

My weekend in Memphis

This weekend I went to Memphis to visit my Mommy's parents. We had so much fun. Grandma talked to me and I kicked for her. She loved it...I've got her wrapped around my tiny fingers already! :-) She wanted to zerbert me(blow on Mommy's tummy), but Granddaddy said that would scare me so he decided to zerbert her instead. It was so funny!

After my afternoon nap we went to celebrate Kayla's Sweet 16 with the Sweetens. I was the youngest person to be invited...I'm a pretty cool kid. We had fun and ate yummy cake!

On Sunday I went to church with everyone. Grandma was so proud to show me off. Everyone was so excited to meet me. I got LOTS of hugs! After dinner it was time to hit the road and head back to Nashville. I stayed up the entire ride dancing to the music. I really enjoyed my weekend, and I can't wait to go back.

My First Step Show and a weekend in Memphis

Hi Friends and Family!

Last night I went to my first step show. I had a great time! I got to line dance with Mommy and see lots of her friends from college. I was a big hit! Everyone wanted to say hi to me.

I really enjoyed the show and I jumped around the entire time. I even kicked for Aunt Kortney! She was so excited :-)

After the show, Daddy took me and Mommy to see Mimi and Poppy in Memphis. We haven't been since Mommy found out I was in her tummy. I've been here before...she just didn't know it,lol!

Right now I'm just chilling with my Grandparents. I'm sure we will do lots of fun things over the weekend and I will tell you all about them next week.

President Obama

Hi everyone!

On Tuesday night, I was a part of one of the biggest moments in American history. Mommy, Uncle Scooby, Uncle Lunchbox, and I went to the Obama Watch Party at the Cannery in Nashville. It was so fun! There was music and food and ALL kinds of people.

Mommy was jumping a lot so I assumed that things were going well. Around 10pm she started jumping and screaming so I figured that Obama won the Presidency. She said that it was a huge moment in history. I don't know what that means yet, but she told me that she took lots of pictures so that I could see just what happened that night.

There was lots of hugging, jumping and tears, and I know that everyone was very happy. Mommy told me that I can be anything I want tobe when I get out of her tummy, even President of the United States! That's so cool!

Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm going back to kicking Mommy in the tummy. That's life...in Aaron's World!

I'm baaaaack!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been busy growing. I weigh about 10oz now.

Well, since I've been gone I have been on a hayride, helped Mommy pass out candy for Halloween, and I was in a parade!

I went on a hayride with Daddy's family. There are soooo many of them! It was dark outside and everyone said it was cold, but I was nice and warm in Mommy's tummy. Mommy and Daddy showed off my pictures to everybody. They think I'm the cutest fetus ever!

On Friday night Mommy and I passed out Halloween candy to all of our neighborhood friends. My favorite part was eating teh candy...yummy!

On Saturday morning I was a part of my very first TSU Homecoming parade. We woke up very early to get ready. Mommy was supposed to be passing out beads, but the crowd was too pushy so she rode in the van to keep me protected. Uncle Scooby told everybody that I was riding in the van! I'm a local celebrity now :-)

Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne

HI Everyone!

Last night, Mommy took me to my very first concert! I went to see(more like hear...) Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne. I like to dance to Lil Wayne in Daddy's car.

It was so much fun! We had great seats and I danced the night away with Mommy. We got home late, and I think Mommy was really tired, but I could have gone all night! I'm still dancing this morning!

I hope we go to lots more concerts because I LOVE music! That's a day in my life...in Aaron's World :-)

Hello Family and Friends!

My name is Aaron Andre Haynes. Mommy and Daddy found out yesterday that I'm a little boy. They put my picture on a big TV and they even made a DVD of my performance. Yeah...I'm a superstar.

After I showed them what they came to see, I was tired of playing their game and turned over to rest(I heard Mommy say I get that from her!). That mean old doctor kept trying to shake me up and make me do tricks! I showed her though!
